Safety Consultancy

We have extensive experience writing end-to-end safety assessments across a broad range of industries, including Future Air Mobility (FAM). We have experience working with the Specific Operations Risk Assessment (SORA) methodology and can offer Operating Safety Case (OSC) and Safety Management System (SMS) support.

Technical Support

We can provide advanced technical support to novel complex UAS issues. We have expertise in software development, integration and assurance, with a focus on decentralising automation and mobility. We can also provide access to a decentralised surveillance network via Neuron Innovation’s 4DSKY app

Facilities

Cranfield University has Barclays Eagle Labs and AVIATE+ facilities on-site. Eagle Labs is a successful business incubator facility for early-stage companies in the Aerospace and AvTech sector, while AVIATE+ offers a programme of support to assist companies to scale and succeed. We also have access to BVLOS testing zones.

Testing and Trials

We support innovators in conducting meaningful trials at pace using our safety, technical and business expertise. We also facilitate the data collection and analysis from testing and prototyping to enable innovators to get more out of their trials.

Resources

We offer innovators access to Bettany Centre for Entrepreneurship, academic expertise, world class research and highly skilled graduates. We also support them in finding and applying for funding opportunities.

Contacts

We work closely with the UK CAA through various projects and are highly experienced in interfacing with the regulator. We are also part of the FFC Phase 3 consortium and have built a strong network of SMEs from the industry.
